Stolen Holiday is the second title in the Marjorie and Patience series, and was the second book written by Lorna Hill. The book was originally written in an exercise book, as a Birthday present for Lorna Hill's daughter, Vicki, illustrated by the author. Included in the book are not only the various published illustrations, but also original, never before published, drawings. In addition, Vicki has written the foreword and James Mackenzie has contributed an excellent piece on the locations in Stolen Holiday. The book includes text from the original manuscript which was never in the published version!
